Don't get me wrong, the food was okay. The truffle macaroni and cheese was one of the best dishes I've ever had! However, that's the issue..... For 330 dollars for two people I paid for fancy macaroni and cheese with 4 shots of very good whiskey. I feel the meal was incredibly overpriced .... The meal included 6 courses with 4 whiskey pairings. Only two of the four courses were something to write home about (Macaroni and cheese with truffles, and the oil cake with pistachio ice cream). The other four courses were EXTREMELY mediocre. I'm actually very dissatisfied with the meal. If you want a delicious meal, this is not the place for you. It's incredibly overpriced, and the family style meal where you have to share with everyone else on your table is kind of silly for the price.... I would absolutely not go here again. The staff was very friendly and attentive though.

Had a great time here for a whiskey tasting. The staff was cordial, the food delicious, and the time well spent. Will definitely be back.

The food was absolutely heavenly. I didn't have the opportunity to do the whiskey pairing with the food but it looked exceedingly well thought out. The staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere was comfortable (for the high quality of the food and service). I honestly dream about the food still, it was just so well prepared.

As a longtime fan of High West Whiskey I was excited to take my wife here for our anniversary. The cottage itself was very well done and had a very cozy cabin like atmosphere. We were instructed that there would be drinks and appetizers about 30 min earlier than dinner. This was outside on the deck which was fun as they had fires and seating. Little did I know this would be the last time I would have an actual conversation with my wife. The appetizers were good and included pate, foie gras, & deviled eggs. The dinner is served as a chefs choice and family style. The thing we didn't understand that family style wasn't a meal for my wife and me, but actually family style with everyone at the table. This aspect wasn't very fun as for some items there wasn't enough food for everyone. The Chefs menu was the same menu as their sample menu on the website. So I'm not sure that the menu actually changes. The Chef never came out to discuss the menu which was disappointing. The food was good but the buffalo was the best part. Dinner was very loud and I could barely talk to the person next to me let alone my wife across from me. Not exactly the romantic evening I had anticipated. For $60 extra you can get whiskey matched to the meal for each course. I got one and my wife passed as she isn't a big fan of whisky. She looked at the wine list only to find that her only choice was a full bottle of wine. It was fun to hear about each whiskey and flavors to look for. However, 4 shots of whiskey for $60 from the company that makes the whiskey and likely wants you to buy more wasn't a great showing. Save your money and buy a $40 bottle of whiskey from them afterwards. At the end of dinner they took us on a tour of the distillery which was informative and fun. I would recommend it for the experience if you are prepared to pay for it. Skip the whiskey and your bill will be about $93.81/person. With whisky expect the bill to be about $168.86/person. Add in a bottle of wine and I'm sure you can make the bill as expensive as you would like it. Would also be more fun as a group than as a couple.

What a fun experience. The food and whisky pairing idea was very unique and not to be missed if you like top shelf food and top shelf whisky. It's a bit on the pricy side so don't expect a bargain but if your not afraid to pay for what you get, this experience does not disappoint. Service was friendly and efficient, the family style service was delightful since the couple we sat with were very enjoyable foodies like me.
